Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in Nigeria's 2023 general election, has concluded his United States tour. Naija News reports that Obi began a three-day, three-city tour across the U.S. on October 24th. This update was shared through a statement from Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR), signed by Ibrahim Umar. According to the statement, Obi’s tour was part of his ongoing efforts to engage with Nigerians in the Diaspora and his commitment to the pursuit of a new vision for Nigeria. The cities visited during this tour were Houston, Texas; Los Angeles, California; and Atlanta, Georgia. This U.S. visit marked the final stage of Obi’s North America Appreciation tour, which had previously included stops in Toronto, Canada; Boston, Massachusetts; New York City, New York; West Orange, New Jersey; Cherry Hill, New Jersey; Dallas, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Detroit, Michigan.
