The Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja is set to undergo a major upgrade, with a budget of N24.6 billion allocated for the project.  This amount is part of the N203.6 billion budget assigned to the National Sports Commission in the 2026 appropriation bill  The upgrade plan includes: Rehabilitation of the Main Bowl  N18.77 billion will be spent on the first phase of this project. High-Performance Centre: N5.8 billion will be used to complete this centre for athletes. - Internet Connectivity: N65 million will provide fibre-optic and LAN/WAN connectivity at the stadium and other sports facilities. - Sports Secretariat: N15.5 billion is allocated for constructing a new sports secretariat within the stadium complex. This upgrade is part of President Bola Tinubu's "Budget of Restoration," which has increased the sports sector's funding by 300% compared to 2025. FG partners Pakistan to boost food security

The Central Government has reported plans to collaborate with the Public authority of Pakistan to work on horticultural creation and improve food security in Nigeria. This was uncovered in an explanation gave by Head Data Official at the Service of Farming and Food Security, Umar Rashida on Sunday.
