As Christmas celebrations unfold around the world, Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has sent a heartfelt message to Christians and all Nigerians, encouraging them to embrace optimism and hope for a better future.

In a goodwill statement, the governor reminded citizens that Christmas is a time for deep reflection, gratitude, and commitment to spreading love, kindness, and goodwill. Governor Abiodun emphasized the need for unity and resilience amidst the challenges that the country and its people have faced over the past year. He called on Christians to draw inspiration from the season’s message of faith and renewal, urging them to remain hopeful for brighter days ahead.

“Christmas is not just a season of celebration, but a moment for us to reaffirm our collective belief in the possibility of a better tomorrow. As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us remember His teachings of love, humility, and selflessness,” he stated.

The governor also highlighted the importance of community and the collective responsibility of rebuilding the nation. He encouraged citizens to extend a helping hand to the less privileged and ensure that the essence of Christmas – sharing and compassion – is reflected in their actions.
